it's been so long since i read a really great book.

sitting out in the balcony, reading... what is this.

wow, up till now i didn't know the title of the book i was reading.

the telling, by ursula k. le guin.

The Telling is a 2000 science fiction novel by Ursula K. Le Guin set in her fictional universe of Hainish Cycle. It tells the story of Sutty, a Terran sent to be an Ekumen observer, on the planet Aka, and her experiences with the conflict there between the Corporation, a repressive State capitalist (or corporatist) government and the indigenous resistance, which is centered on the traditions of the Telling (for which the book is named).

The Telling won the Locus Award for Best Science Fiction Novel in 2001.

it is raining like fuck now.

just now from the mrt i thought it was beautiful.

now i'm just wet. but it was fun (:

today i was myself again for the first time in a long while.

i have no idea what made it happen.

when i read books like this i get like some sense of meaning.

i know some people will think it's pretty stupid but idk.

i go for books that tell us we have a deeper purpose in life.

makes me sleep easier at night, maybe.

what did i do yesterday, hmm...

i realised i haven't talked to fiona at all the past few weeks.

or played soccer.

something's wrong with me :/

anyway, went to SUPPORT the mbio quiz people

apparently, in a competition.

how well you do varies inversely with the number of supporters you have

i kinda needed one for my laptop

and we had free food.

oh, god, so much free food.

if nush had caterers like theirs i would faint with ecstasy.

but not before eating a lot.

english was fine.

math was boring as hellllllll
